Spring has sprung and we are living it up! We’re kicking off the month with the Week of the Young Child celebrating early childhood and we’re squeezing in an egg hunt!
Week of the Young Child 4/7 – 4/11
Join us in celebrating the Week of the Young Child from April 5-11, 2025! This annual event, organized by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), highlights the importance of early learning and the critical role of educators, families, and communities in supporting young children. Throughout the week, we’ll engage in fun, hands-on activities that promote movement, healthy lifestyles, and creativity through music, food, and art. Let’s come together to recognize and support the needs of our youngest learners!

Egg Hunt 4/17
Please, have your children bring in an Easter basket, bucket or small bag to hunt eggs with.
School Closure 4/18
Friday, April 18th, La Mere Academy will be closed in observance of Good Friday. Have a wonderful and blessed Easter weekend. We will see you Monday!

2025-2026 PreK Parent Meeting
Mark your calendars. Wednesday, April 30th at 6pm we will hold our Pre-K Information Meeting. This meeting is for both entering (Suites 400, 450, 500 students will all transition to Pre-K in August) and returning Pre-K parents. We will discuss the program, curriculum, expectations, introduce the teachers and explain the full day and extended day costs and differences.
Pre-Kindergarten Graduation
Pre-Kindergarten Graduation will be held Friday, May 23 at 5:30pm at ParqSocial in Cedar Park. Invitations and tickets will be out soon.
Family will receive 4 tickets, additional tickets can be purchased for $10.
