By blending academics with social and emotional development, our Pre-K Program equips children with the tools they need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. We focus on pre-reading, writing, math, and critical thinking skills, all taught through play-based learning. Our Pre-K students are encouraged to ask questions, explore topics of interest, and become more independent learners. By the time they complete our program, they’re ready to confidently take the next step into elementary school.
Our program meets and exceeds national standards, has literature-based units, and addresses learning styles of all kinds. We want to see every child succeed to her fullest potential which is why every unit of study was developed with the learner in mind.
Pre-Kindergarten activities involve several large and small hands-on groups, independent exercises, and realistic application. Every learning station and each piece of the Pre-K curriculum was designed to build children’s comprehension. In each educational experience, children are able to apply thought, imagination, and creativity through independent and cooperative learning strategies. - Academic Introductions — These are group learning sessions where students will be introduced to the subject matter they are learning that day
- Independent Exercises — As your child is growing older, they will begin to explore the world around them independently. We provide plenty of opportunities for the children in our program to explore subjects, concepts, and ideas on their own to further develop their independent thinking skills
- Large and Small Group Activities — Along with independent learning, we encourage the children in our programs to work together. We have created small and large group stations where children will learn to cooperate with each other to solve problems and investigate new ideas and materials. Our small group stations focus on close engagement with peers while our large group activities focus on a community approach to learning
- Realistic Application — In each educational experience, children will learn to apply thought, imagination and creativity to real life situations and problems

- Language and Literacy Center helps children build their language skills
- Art Center presents free-choice art experiences that develop skills and imagination
- Construction Center develops spatial awareness through stacking, sorting, building, and recreating
- Dramatic Play Center encourages individual and group role play activities with realistic and imaginary props
- Math Center lets children apply math skills with a variety of materials and strategies
- Reading Center promotes independent reading and a love of books
- Science/Sensory Center allows children to experiment with materials
- Writing Center encourages beginning letter formation through a variety of materials and activities
Proper nutrition serves as fuel for growing bodies AND minds
Meals
- Children eat all meals together using family-style seating in our kid-friendly café
- Teachers monitor all eating times
- Meals are prepared in our commercial-grade kitchen, which is kept separated from the classrooms
- Each day, our in-house chef prepares nutritious meals that exceed USDA guidelines
- All allergies are documented and kept in the front office with administrators
- Our school is a nut-free zone
