We’ve made it to May! Hard to believe this school year is coming to a close, and this month seems to be even busier than all the rest. We begin with our Mother’s Day Celebration, Teacher Appreciation Week, and end with Pre-K Graduation!
Teacher Appreciation Week May 5th to 9th
We will be spoiling our teachers all week with meals, massages, and more. Please bring them a card or a goodie to make them feel loved. Our Staff Favorites binder is on the white bookshelf in the back of the lobby.
On Monday, there will be flowers available at the front lobby. Please put together a bouquet for your classroom teacher.
Mother’s Day Celebration Friday, May 9th
We enjoyed partying with our moms so much last year, we decided to make this a tradition. Please, join us this Friday, May 9th at 3pm in your child’s classroom for nachos and fun!
Luau May 30th
We have a fabulous Luau day planned on Friday, May 30th. Pull out the grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts. Prizes will be awarded to our best-dressed students and teachers.
Please arrive promptly at 9am so you don’t miss the awesome show with hula dancers in grass skirts and the poi fire show.
Pre-Kindergarten Graduation
It’s about to get super emotional around here. Our Pre-K students are heading to kindergarten in the fall. We’re going to party all summer long, beginning with our graduation ceremony.
Pre-Kindergarten Graduation will be held Friday, May 23rd at 5:30pm at ParqSocial in Cedar Park (1641 Scottsdale Dr). Invitations and tickets will be out soon.
Each family will receive 4 tickets, additional tickets can be purchased for $10.
Please remember there will be no class on May 23rd.
Please, arrive by 5pm to the event center with well rested students.
Summer Camp
The word is out about our incredibly fun summer camp! We are almost full! Thank you so much for all the support! We are thrilled with the responses!
Our first week of Summer Camp starts May 27th.
All summer camp field trips are scheduled for 9am departures and return by 2pm. Please arrive promptly so you don’t miss the bus.
Family Referral
Do you know a family that could benefit from the services provided by La Mère Academy? When you refer a family or friend to La Mère Academy, you will receive $500 in tuition credits! These credits can be applied to your account after they become a La Mère Academy family after three months (if you refer multiple people, you’ll receive a credit for each referral).
