Summer Time!
Woohooo! Summer is upon us! Time for some relaxation and fun in the sun. Our classes will transition to a more relaxed, summer curriculum this month and, will add in water days once a week. Please, check with your teachers for your kiddo’s water day and plan accordingly.Around the World in 80 Days
Our summer curriculum will feature a new country each week. We will learn about and celebrate the cultures of each new country. Chef Latesha is even getting in on the fun so that our students may sample the food from each culture. We’re kicking off here in the great U.S.A, in Hawaii June 6th. We have a fabulous Luau day planned Wednesday, June 8th. Pull out the grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts. Prizes will be awarded to our best dressed students and teachers. Donuts with Dads Friday, June 17th
We’re celebrating dads this month. Pop in to your kiddos’ classrooms at 9am on Friday the 17th for donuts and coffee to celebrate all that you do! (We subscribe to the broader meaning of the word “dad”. Step-dad, grandfather, uncle, neighbor family friend, if you’re fulfilling that role, we’re celebrating you.)
Last year we had the most phenomenal turnout of fathers. Let’s keep it up.
Dinner To Go
Great food, no stress.
Monday, June 6th. Dinners will be ready for pick up by 4pm. Feeds a family of 4 $50 per meal. Cash only paid directly to Chef. This months meal is fried chicken, smothered okra and fresh corn on the cob.
