Summer is in full swing, and we’re soaking up every sunny moment! This month is packed with exciting events, cool activities, and plenty of ways to stay connected and have fun. Whether you’re enjoying Splash Day, gearing up for Independence Day festivities, or just relaxing with family and friends, we’ve got all the updates and highlights you need right here. Let’s make this July one to remember!
Red, White, and Bike Parade – July 3rd
Decorate your bikes, trikes and push toys and wear your most patriotic gear for our Red, White and Blue Bike Parades! Prizes will be given for both best dressed and best decorating! Parents are welcome and encouraged to join us.
Infant/Toddler Parade – 9:30am (Suites 100, 150, 200, 250)
Preschool Parade – 10:05am (Suites 300, 350, 400, 450, 500)
Pre-K Parade – 10:35am
Summer Camp – 10:55am
Bikes, trikes, and push toys can be dropped off in front of the building on Friday morning. Please locate the sign with your child’s Suite number and drop their bike in the designated area. Labeling bikes with your child’s name is encouraged and appreciated. Helmets are strongly encouraged for bicycle riders! No power wheels or motorized bikes, please. Scooters are allowed.
The parking lot will be closed at 8:45am. We will clear the parking lot of ALL cars.
School Closure! Friday, July 4th!
La Mere Academy will be closed Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day! We wish everyone a fun, festive and safe 4th of July. We’ll see y’all on Monday!
Lemonade Standoff July 11th
Our summer campers are showcasing their creativity and business savvy during our ‘Getting Down to Business’ theme week. Let’s show our support for these inspiring young entrepreneurs!
Lemonade stand off will start at 3pm. Everyone will get to purchase some lemonade and vote for the best!
Smurf Day July 18th
We’re feeling blue in the best way possible as we celebrate all things Smurf! Everyone is showing their Smurfy spirit by dressing head-to-toe in blue, bringing a splash of color and a whole lot of fun to the day. Whether it’s blue shirts, face paint, or creative costumes, it’s a playful way to honor these tiny, cheerful characters and spread some Smurf-tastic joy around school!
Now Enrolling for After School Care
Enrollment for after-school care for the 2025-2026 school year has begun. We have limited spots available. Be sure to secure yours this month.
Tuition includes in-service days and early release days.
School Closure! August 4th-8th!
Please, do not forget and mark it on your calendar. We are closed the first full week (Aug 4th – 8th) of August this year for Staff Development.

Congratulations to the Akundi family for guessing the closest number of kernels. There were 2881 kernels in the jar. They guessed 2835! They receive $100 credit off their tuition.
