October is always packed full of extra fun at La Mere. This year we’ve gone even bigger. Pop-up shops, Kids Night Out, Trunk or Treat, and our big Costume Parade and Trick or Treat throughout the school.
Fall Picture Day October 11, 2022
Fall picture day is Tuesday, October 11th. Pictures will begin at 9 am. If you’d like your child changed out of their picture outfit after, please, send a change of clothes in a labeled bag and communicate with your teachers.
World Teacher Day October 5, 2022
Drop your teachers a happy note or share some extra kind words on this day as we celebrate our incredible teachers.
Buru Pop-up Shop October 6th and 7th
“Mom life styled.” Come let the Buru team style you for fall with beautiful, quality, wash-and-wear pieces that will make your wardrobe extra special.
Kid’s Night Out October 8, 2022
Kid’s Night Out October 8th from 6:30 pm to 11 pm, is for kids 5 years to 11 years. Pizza, games, a bounce house, and a movie. Only $65 for a super, fun night out. (That’s like $14 an hour for a night of babysitting. Take advantage and have a fun date night.)
*La Mere Pre-K students are also, eligible to attend.
Trunk or Treat October 22, 2022
We’re getting the most of our costumes this year! La Mere Academy is hosting a trunk or treat on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Bounce House, food truck, face painting, popcorn, and cotton candy. Come and have some family fun!

Halloween Costume Parade October 31st
Our kiddos will show off their Halloween costumes with a parade through the parking lot continued by trick or treating through the school.
Infant/Toddler Parade 9:30 am Suites 100, 150, 200, 250 (Ms. Rosa, Ms. Mariangeli, Ms. Dyanne, and Ms. Shek’s classes.)
Preschool and Pre-K Parade 10:10 am Suites 300, 350, 400, 450, 500 and Pre-K (Ms. Rae, Ms. Leticia, Ms. Venee, Ms, Kristen, Ms. Michaela, and Ms. Amina’s classes.)
The parking lot will be cleared of ALL vehicles and closed at 9:00 am!
